OPEC Plus agreement plays key role in stabilizing oil markets: Saudi cabinet

The Saudi cabinet says the OPEC Plus agreement is key to stabilizing oil markets. The world will have to understand the dangerous consequences of arming the Houthis.

According to reports from Riyadh, the Saudi cabinet meeting was chaired by King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The Saudi cabinet added that the Ukraine crisis must be resolved through peaceful means. If Houthi attacks on Saudi fuel production centers continue, Saudi Arabia will not be responsible for the reduction in oil market supplies.

The Saudi cabinet said the world needed to understand how serious the consequences of giving missiles and drones to the Houthis to attack Saudi oil installations could be serious. The international community has a responsibility to protect its oil supplies and to take concrete action against the Houthis.

The Saudi cabinet welcomed the UN decision to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Islamophobia on March 15 and said that Saudi Arabia supports the promotion of a culture of moderation and tolerance at all levels and the encouragement of dialogue between civilizations. Saudi Arabia will continue to work with regional and international organizations and brotherly and friendly countries.
