In Greece, 200 bakers made the traditional New Year’s cake, Osipolapeta, which weighed 5,000 kg.
Aisolpeta is prepared by several bakeries on New Year’s Eve, this cake is made in Peristeri, an area of Athens.
The weight of the cake was 5 thousand kg, it included 3990 kg of flour, 1996 kg of butter, 998 kg of sugar, 2 thousand eggs, 1500 kano.
The organizers have said that the cake has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records to be recognized as the world’s largest Osipetta cake.
The cake was divided into 50,000 pieces and distributed among the people present.
